Student Learning Assessment

Kasturi  has adopted a continuous internal evaluation system of analyzing the academic progress of individual students, and suggests timely remedies to improve their performance. Under this assessment system, student academic performance and progress are regularly evaluated through the day–to–day activities in the classroom including assignments, project write-up, class–quizzes, scheduled unit tests and term–end examinations.

In one Academic Year, three quarterly evaluation report of the academic progress of a student are generated. Each progress report is aimed at providing a clear analysis of student achievement for the term completed, and also demarcate specific areas of focus for the student to work upon to improve their performance in the subsequent term. Parent–teacher meetings are scheduled following the preparation of each quarterly evaluation, where parents/guardians, teachers and student interact on the progress report and identify what the student can do and cannot do, what the students find difficult, any gaps and misunderstandings the student might have.
